    Finally able to use the new toy! Long cold winter waiting for her to be built.  Have had a blast the few times we've been out.  I really love my Hurricane.  (Sundeck 2200 DC OB)

    Hi, I like your boat. I recently purchased the same boat and trolling motor. By the way the install looks great. I wanted to install my trolling motor the same way, so I was wondering where you got the different layers to build up the mount. I know that one is the quick release mount. I understand you may have made the other layers, but out of what? Any information would be helpful.   Thank you

    Welcome to the forum Eric70!

    I assume you are talking about MikeP's slick install on the previous page.  Looks like he used plate aluminum on the base layer then went with a  layer of King Starboard, which is probably the same material used for the Minn Kota quick release bracket.

    Maybe Mike will see this and confirm.

    Finally getting the boat to the lake last night!!!  Had battery problems, after a number of days on smart chargers, had to replace the starting battery.  Good to go now!
