Why am I getting water out of the upper rear drain on my SD187

When putting my SD187 on the boat lift, I get about 1/2 gallon of water coming out of the upper rear drain hole.  I do not see any water in the bilge area before or after.  Could this be from the live well intake and drain?  I do not install the tower in my live well while just our cruising.

Even though you don't see small amounts in your bilge, the boat could still in fact have water that has entered the boat via rain, wet boaters, from the deck draining through the ski locker, etc.

Is it consistently there?  Check the areas around the intake when you first put the boat back in the water and see if you get any entering the boat.

Scupper valve.  Takes 5 minutes to replace.  Yours is dried out

Can't figure out how to do a new post, but the new-to-us 1995 Fundeck 196 has had water come out of the starboard aft scupper twice, when there was no water in the bilge and no water on the deck.  It first happened when the boat was on the trailer, while we were accelerating, and then when we pulled the boat out of the water, angling up the ramp.  Where's that water coming from?

According to that, it is the aft starboard deck drain, but there has not been water on the deck that I know of.

I would have a local dealer troubleshoot this for you. The seat compartments also drain into this drain.

Well, I guess that's better than the bilge.  Thanks.

PS:  There's a dip in the hose that connects the rear starboard floor drain to the scupper, and it could be water that's in that dip until momentum or gravity moves it on.
