I would like to add a gps/fishfinder but cant find one to fit on the dash without blocking guages,

Not sure what model you have and a picture of the dash layout might be good to post.My dash on my SD237 I/O had a full set up of gauges and doesn't accommodate an in-dash unit. Adding electronics can often be accomplished by using articulating mounts and brackets that give you better flexibility in where they can be mounted to not block other views . Many of us use RAM Mounts to help. Their system of ball and socket style articulation makes them very adjustable. I used one for mounting my Lowrance HDS-7 unit to tuck it into the right hand corner of my windshield at the helm. I used another one to add a vhf radio antenna to my bimini top. I used a RamMount to mount my Garmin 547XS, I mounted the main mount ball on the dash and used a 5 inch rod to move the GPS out away from the dash beside the gauges.
