Where do I mount a trolling motor on my 2013 FD 198? I intend on using a quick release bracket.

@cpkwilson, check out these two threads. These should provide some great information. While you have a FD vs. SS you should still have a similar bow shape/layout so this information might be useful.
I have a 2010 SS188OB with a MinnKota on it so after you're done reading if you have further questions I'd be glad to try to help you. I've seen pretty much my installation on the front of a 2002 FD 228
