Storage Lockers in hull and under bow seats do not drain
I purchased a 2008 Hurricane 257 Deckboat new. Since day one the very large storage lockers beneath the floor and the smaller ones under the bow seats do not drain. There are drain openings but they don't function. There is always at least 1/4" standing water in them after a good rain or when I wash the boat with a hose. The only way to get these storage areas dry enough to use as storage is to sponge up the water and dry with a towel. Way too much work and of course everything stored in those areas gets soaked from the bottom up everytime water collects. What should be done to rectify this sorry situation? The dealer could only scratch his head and offered no solution. Hopefully the folks who built the boat have encountered this one before and have developed a fix.
Thanks for your help.

Check out this thread and perhaps this will help with the ski locker. You're not the first with this problem where the drain holes in the locker weren't (but should've) been there
