Boat Lift size

What would be a correct boat lift model, size or weight capacity for a Hurricane Fun Deck 226 with outboard?  I bought the boat in the Fall and crammed it in where my old V-hull used to be but it's too much of a squeeze.  I have a couple of quotes, one for a 4,000 lb lift and another for a 5,000 lb lift.  Is a 4k enough?

Your boat's dry weigh is about 2300 lbs, about the same as my Hurricane Sundeck 195.   A 150 4-stroke weighs about 480 lbs, fuel about 180 lbs (6 lbs/gal, 30 gallon capacity), lift cradle about 350 lbs,  storage 100 lbs (anchor, life vests, lines, PFD's etc) which totals at about 3410 lbs.  My Sundeck sits on a 4,000 lb lift in a boathouse with no problems.  Not sure what kind of lift you are referring to.  Given the choice, I'd go for the larger capacity with the greater safety margin.
