On my 217 there are 2 different length adjustment poles for the bimini top.  The shorter pole is actually only used when the top is in the completely folded and stored position to drop it down as low as possible.  This helps if you are storing the boat in dry storage like I do so the top will fit into the storage rack.  You need to use the long poles when you are actually using the top in the fully open position.

Should look like this fully open:

You can see the shorter poles next to the longer poles are not in use, but in the stored position with the top up.  Also note the location of the rear support is up next to the back of the seat and not in the lower position that is used with the shorter poles.

The straps on my 2023 SD217 are in the back and they did not mount the eyes that the straps hook into. I have purchased the eyes but not sure where the go. Anyone know?

I have the 2007 217SD. Is it me or does the bimini top not go all the way down on the outboard? It doesn't appear to have the proper clearance for the 150 motor.

This does not go all the way down it is to be stored on the short trailering legs.
