ANY SUGGESTIONS ON MOUNTING MY MINN KOTA TROLLING MOTOR ON THE FRONT OF MY SD 217 ?  ALSO WHERE TO PLACE MY 2 BATTERIES ?

There a couple of threads on mounting of trolling motors on Hurricane boats with photos.  Do a search.  You will find that the bow of the 217 is basically the same as on other boats, so that will give you an idea.  Basically you will have to install the motor at an angle when retracted.

If you got the fishing package, you should have an extra battery tray right next to the standard battery already installed along with the wiring.  If you didn't get the fishing package, there should still be room in the battery compartment for another battery.
