I have a 1998 Fun Deck 224 and the top is missing the canvas covering.  I have the SS frame and except for the straps it is in serviceable condition.  I live in a small rural county and the canvas shops say they need a pattern to make a new canvas covering.  Estimates are $700.00 to $$1000.00 with a pattern.  Does that sound reasonable? It gets really hot here in FL, any suggestions on how I may address this it?

    Check with your closest Hurricane dealer, they should be able to order one. On our new FD226 the top had a couple holes in it & our dealer ordered on & sent it out to us.

    Thanks servmgr64,

    I tried that and was told the boat is too old and the manufacturer doesn't stock those items, he suggested the local canvas shop.
