Switches died.

When master switch was turned on, a busing sound came from under dash, then quit. The next time out, none of the auxiliary switches work, depth finder, stereo ect. I am no where near a dealer. any ideas? No tripped breakers and a meter shows 12.4 volts across the back terminals of the master switch when it is off but 0 when it is turned on. 2011 196 Fun Deck.

I would try a jumper wire across it, if it works the master switch went bad.

That what I thought, but I swapped the master switch for the live well switch and it had no effect.

There are two fuses near the Batters that get caroded.
I changed them to sealed inline fuses
, they last longer

So I replaced both relays and everything worked for 8 hours and then the switches died again. Replaced the relays again with a different brand and everything worked for an hour then they died again. What can be causing these relays to fail?

Leaverton did you ever figure out what the issue was? I'm having the same problem on my 2008 228RE.
