Trailer Advice

Hello,  I have a 1994 Hurricane FunDeck boat with a Merc 4.3L: V6. 20ft long. I was wondering what types of trailers I could use safely with my boat. Right now I have a single axle trailer with no trailer brakes. I just purchased a tandem axle trailer but not sure if it will work or not. Just wondering if anyone out there has the same or very similar boat with a tandem axle trailer who could give me some pointers.  Thanks!

    The first thing you should check out is what the trailer laws are for your state, especially regarding when trailer brakes are required.  Here's a link from BoatUS that gives you access to that info:
