Master power switch , stereo

Went on my 2008 fun deck gs with a 200 yam this weekend and noticed the tach not working properly. Jumping all over the place. After investigating noticed that it only happened when the master power switch turned on . Also the stereo works for one second and then just flashes. Any ideas?
