Pink spots on upholstery

I have a 2012 SD 231 that started the summer with a 2 pink spots near the seams on seat backs. Now it has rampantly spread to all the seat backs. I have had boats all my life (50+ years) and have never seen this before. The boat stays in dry storage when not in use and is not covered so it should not be a moisture problem. Is this a warranty covered defect? What can be done to solve this problem?

Here is some information. It's more commonly known as pink mold/mildew.
In the Action Steps, I've heard with many positive results that what you see in step two regarding household bleach, the some folks have mixed it with baking soda and put it on the spots overnight. I'd try it in a small area to test first.
Also, speak to your dealer and see what the warranty covers. Some warranty coverage on some manufacturers will (it extended from the supplier of the vinyl)

I have heard spray sunscreen will leave pink spots. I no longer allow spray sunscreen in my boat - only lotion
