Christmas present: we would like to purchase a stereo system for a 1992 206 fundeck and need the size of the original speakers.

allow me to offer a word of advice. If you are installing the speakers in the front of the lockers under the seats, measure with the lid open. The installer failed to do this on my FunDeck and now whenever a locker is opened all the way, it crushes the top of the grill on that speaker. No way to fix it other than throw out all the seat lockers and start over with new ones. Measure twice, cut once!
