2005 deckboat 19ff...replace tranducer cable?

Greetings....before l start pulling...is there enough room to pull the old transducer cable out and rerun a new one back through?? My factory installed Lawerance fish finder is shot and l wound like to replace it with a Garmin. Thanks for your help. Warren

Talking with my dealer, he usually attaches the new line to the old line, tapes it up to make it less susceptible to snags, then pulls it through.  Most times it works, sometimes it doesn't.  Depending on what previous owners have done under the deck can have an effect too.
