Adding a mid section set of cleats on my 2011 Sundeck 187 OB?

Has anyone on this board added a set of mid section cleats on there Hurricane? I know on my larger boat the forward and aft springs came in quite useful in very windy and strong current locations. With the size of my boat a mid section cleat would work so much better when docking against the wind.

Subscribed as I was thinking about this the other day for my 2014 SD187. Curious to see if anyone has.

x2.
I've given some thought to doing this to my 201.2003 GS211 Yamaha 150 HP OX66 -
I haven't done this as my boat already has them, but if you want to match the style of cleats you currently have fore and aft, they are made by Seasense. They come in 6" and 8" lengths and are in stainless steel. My boat has 8" fore and aft and 6" on the mid-section.
Here's a link to the iBoats 6" listing, they carry both lengths:

@cjjjdeck , this looks nothing like the cleats on my old FD 196 Fish and Fun. Can you help me find a replacement for broken one? Where can I find a parts list?1991 Fundeck FD196 Fish and Fun1990 Yamaha 130 2 stroke

That cleat above I know fits the Sundeck and Sundeck Sport models. The Fun Deck models may use something different. Could you post a picture of one of your cleats, it would help.2012 SD237 I/O Mercruiser 5.0L MPI ECT/ Bravo 32012 Load Rite Elite Tandem axle trailer

The closest thing I came up with to match what you show in the picture is a cleat made by Whitecap Industries. It is made out of chrome plated Zamac, so it's fresh water recommended only (I prefer stainless) and I haven't seen where they offer a stainless steel version.

If you prefer stainless steel, I found a model that looks similar to your style made by Suncor (not exactly).

Well I finally was able to add the cleats. I could not find what I wanted for a backing plate so I just used one inch stainless washers sealed all with life seal.
