Shot in the dark... Headed there to camp in July. Will have Hurricane as well as canoe/kayaks. Anyone spent any time on this lake? Fishing? Water sports? Particular waterfalls that were impressive? Nearby attractions? Any information beyond what is listed on the park web site would be greatly appreciated.

Camped at this lake last week. BEAUTIFUL! Lake is in the upper corner of SC near the NC border. Lake is very clean and not crowded. Waterfalls are plentiful and can be viewed from a boat, climbed on or jumped from. Water is very cool, clear, flat and great for water sports. NO mosquitos, but does have biting flies. This is a must do lake if you are in the southeast.
