I would like to flush the water tank system, what is the best way to do this.

The fresh water tank can be cleaned using a non-detergent bleach and water solution. The safe "drinkable" chlorine bleach to water ratio is 1/8 tsp per gallon. I would start out with a strong solution, like 2-3 tablespoons per gallon, let it sit a few hours or overnight (depending what comes out, you may want to do this a couple of times). Since the fresh water tank doesn't have a drain, run the solution through all your freshwater outputs (galley sink, head sink, washdown), flush it with clean water, then use the "drinkable" solution as your last tankful.
If you don't plan on using the water from the tank to drink (like I do) or not use much of the fresh water very often, you could always up the ratio a bit to prevent chlorine dissipation which can reduce its effectiveness.
If you always add the bleach when you fill your fresh water tank, you shouldn't have to go through the cleaning process again.
