Transducer on my boat

i had to replace the depth fish finder on my 2006 Hurricane 196R boat. Updated to a newer model and none of the old cables will fit the new one. Question is does anyone know where the transducer is located in the boat? It's got to be inside cause it's nowhere to be found outside and the cables goes into the floor under the console. Any help please

If you don't have anything that looks like the pic below, look on the hull. Probably a through hull transducer.
2003 GS211 Yamaha 150 HP OX66 -
Could also be an in-hull transducer epoxied directly to the inside of the hull. It might be in the bilge area and looks like a hockey pick.

More than likely you have a Airmar thru-hull transducer attached to your Faria depth gauge.
here's a picture from one of the threads (thanks Suzook!) showing a typical location for the transducer.
