    Of course I just pulled my boat from the lake yesterday, doing the before storage cleaning and other winterizing items before I give it to the dealer to wrap and store........... always a lamenting time.  Next is the snow blower pre-season prep.....ugh!

    WOW 6 grand RPM.  I can barely reach 4800 with my 5.0 in a SD217.  Mine is an 01 which is in the water for 12 months of the year except for the yearly service and cleaning. A few hairline cracks in the gel coat and cracks in the instrument panel are the only issues I have after 14 years.
