Hurricane 2690

I'm considering purchasing a new 2015 Hurricane 2690 from a dealer.
I really like the overall design and functionality of the boat which i will be using in the Florida Bay in the Keys.
My questions are:
1) when I sea tested the boat there was a noticeable list to the port side at higher speeds. Is this something that is normal with this model?
2) the dealer suggested changing the prop. What is the recommended prop for this boat with a Yamaha 300 4-stroke?
3) they also suggested installing doel-fin hydrofoil stabilizer to the engine. Should i be concerned about this.
Thank you in advance for your help and education on this.

1) Not usual unless some inbalance from the weight of batteries (typically stored in the aft storage compartment) or other items.
2) Change the prop? It's new. Did they not prop it accordingly? Is this to solve the list? typically on single prop installations, the prop rotation (clockwise) will typically force the boat to the starboard side when you let go of the wheel. However, given you indicated a 300HP OB on this, it would be outfitted with hydraulic steering and should hold true at higher speeds. Anything above 150HP without hydraulic would rip your arms off fighting prop torque. Perhaps the steering needs to be adjusted (proper bleed of the system, etc)
3) Doel-fin.... NO....NO.....NO. Do you really want to take a brand new engine and drill holes in the plates on the lower unit to bolt a $200 piece of plastic to fix a problem with a $40-50k boat? Bad idea.... If anything, people have tried with great success the Smart Tabs for keeping boats on plane at lower speeds and provide greater stability but those fins aren't the right approach to this problem.
You need to figure out why the list and suggested re-prop is necessary. And likes drugs...just say NO to Doel-fin, etc on a big boat/engine setup like this.------------------------------------------------------------------------------2010 Hurricane SS 188 OB
