My wife and I are currently looking at a used 2014 FD 226F OB. We would like to know if anyone has any info. on this boat or similar ones as far as any known issues, how well it rides as compared to a pontoon or any other advice about it.

We bought a 2013 FD226 as we liked the versatility of it & easier to tow with our truck. We have only put about 70 hours on it but it fit our needs very well. We got the merc 150, 4 stroke, performs better than most pontoons & would probably need a bigger motor for same performance with a pontoon. Our usage has been all on inland lakes very satisfied with it.
