2013 hurricane sport...no alarm, but OBD yellow light on. Should it be off, or green if all is ok ?

2013 SD with 4.3 I/O OBD light is Yellow. No audible alarm. This normal

My 2013 188 merc 4.3 I/O had OBD( on board diagonistics) light came on summer 2015 and dealer cleared light- minor sensor out of range. The OBD light came back on this past summer and still on. I will have dealer clear before it is put in storage. As with an automobile the light can mean a big issue( like timing off) or small issue ( gas cap loose).

You should have your dealer clear light and fix issue if any. -
In addition to answer your specific question and clarify,the OBD light should come on(yellow) after you turn key on(4 seconds) and go off before you turn ignition to start -in order to self check.
if everything is ok the OBD light should be off. If fault is found it will stay on until corrected.
i believe Mercury has a technical service bulletin on issue.
