Can anybody tell me why my gas gauge suddenly sticks on full? It still returns to empty when I shut the power off. Its an analog gauge. I found a loose red wire that might be the culpret near the back of the gauge but I don't know where it goes.
The boat s a 2000 237 sundeck with a Yamaha 150 2 stroke.
Thanks, Hugh

I have similar problem, but do not see any loose wires, i have an 18.8 hurricane boat with a 115hp yamaha gas gauge stays on full mfg. told me i filled up the gas tank to full. How much is to full, you can only put so much gas in and nozzle will click off
