Chrome rubrail replacement

Has anyone changed from the white rubrail to the chrome one? I wanted the chrome one when I purchased my Sundeck, but my dealer talked me into the white one.
I hate it. It gets dirty looking just sitting outside and if it does actually bump something, it's scuffed easily. I'm tired of cleaning it and was wondering how easy of a swap the chrome piece is.
Is the chrome just the insert or does the track have to be replaced too?
