Dana1008, everybody asks that question. Answer is different for every boat. Lots of info in this forum, search "prop" and "propeller data" (note sp.). A good vendor will let you try a prop and exchange it if it is not right. Good luck and post your results for future reference by others.

I have a 2013 188ss hurricane 115 Yamaha 4stroke was size prop you think I need I had 31/2x16 al only turn 5300 then I got a131/2x14 ss turned 6200 that's way to much That's what confused me lol

If u go up 2 on the pitch it usually drops the rpm 400 to 500 rpm just a guide.

Turning 5800. With a 131/4x17 is great now
