Bimini Light Thumb Screw

I have a 2013 217 Sun Deck. The thumb screw that holds the White Stern Light that is part of the Bimini came loose and fell in the water. We cannot find out what size it is. The boat dealer said we have to but a new light even though we gave them the Vin number, etc. They said the screw is not available any longer. We have tried many different sizes . . it appears it needs a Metric M8 with a 1.0 pitch as the M8 with a 1.25 pitch will start but stops then. We do not know the length we need. . Does anyone know or where we can get it. We went to 4 different hardware stores with no luck. Noone seems to carry a 1.0 pitch.

I havent lost the one I have...yet.... I tried to find a replacement without success. Apparently its an odd, no longer used size/thread. Fastenall didnt even have one. I put a small pair of vice locks in the tool box in preparation for the inevitable splash

We found the name of the company on the light. It was made by http://www.attwoodmarine.com/store/product/5120 . . .we are going to call them to see if we can get the thumb screw from them and we will get two!
