Alarm that won't go off

I started my Hurricane 237 this spring and it fired right up but an alarm is going off but not sure why. It does not appear to be overheating and the only gauge that is off is the battery gauge which is maxed out to the high charge for the gauge. Not sure if that is problem or what could be causing that. Any thoughts? I ran the boat for about 15 minutes and it does not seem to be overheating or anything but I have not run it out on the lake yet as I did not want to cause any damage. Even with the engine running I turned the batteries off and the gauge was still maxed out so I thought that might be the issue but it seems weird and not sure what would need to be done.
Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

What engine do you have on the boat? The engine manufacturer would be able to advise you further on this alarm.
