Fuel gauge stopped working

I purchased a used 2013 fundeck 198 RE. It was filthy with dirt dobber nests everywhere. I power sprayed everywhere including under the helm without disconnecting the battery first. ( not very smart). I pulled the drain plug first but realized it was clogged with the bilge pump kicked on. Now the fuel gauge is not registering.
The fuses are pop out type but seem to be fine. Do the relays under the helm control the fuel gauge or could something else getting wet cause the problem? Thanks for any advice.

Same problem on a Sundeck 187. Check all connections and problem appears to be in the guage. Pulling out and sending back to Faria
