Fishing Seat Hole to be Used for Bow Table

Hello Hurricane Boat Owners.  Question.  My SS185 has a hole at the front of the bow for the fishing seat (I also obviously have the fishing seat).  Question is can I potentially use this hole for a bow table holder as well? I've seen after market tables that look like the pedestal leg would fit down in the hole.  Was curious if anyone ever did this?

    Interesting idea.  Springfield Marine manufactures the seat pedestal bases, posts and seat brackets.  The model used is called their "PLUG-IN" style.

    Here's a link to their webpage of the PLUG-IN product offering.  Looks like it wouldn't take much to fabricate a table top ( If it were me, I would use King Starboard material, which you can use wood working tools on) and attach it to one of the PLUG-IN posts, probably using one of their seat brackets..
