Can you put a bow mounted trolling motor on a 2002 Fundeck 196RE. Specifically looking at Minnkota Ulterra 80/60 US2 I Pilot

    The answer is absolutely.  Because of the very short bow deck. you probably will need to mount the motor straight through the front gate.  I have been trying to find a picture that I know one owner posted a while back of his through the gate install.  If I stumble upon it I will re-post it on this thread.

    Do a search on "pontoon boat bow mount trolling motor" and you will see a lot of ways owners have figured out how to best mount in a short bow deck install.
