Trolling motor

Hey all. Just bought our first Hurricane and non fishing boat.
My question is, what trolling motor do most of you use for the deck boat? We have a 202io with a merc 250
I would rather use Minn Kota, but not sure I can link it to the simrad system. Not sure if I want to with this boat as it is more to play with, but I still have to fish. We did get the fishing package so it is ready to go.
thanks in advance

Congratulations on your 1st Hurricane and welcome to the Owners Forum!
On my SD237, which is 3 feet longer and 635 dry weight pounds heavier, I went with the Minnkota Terrova 80 with 60" shaft. I don't get enough speed to actually "troll" with it. But I'm OK with it, because I really wanted it mostly for maneuvering. Minnkota's iPilot technology will have you spend more time fishing and less time maneuvering, I love it.2012 SD237 I/O Mercruiser 5.0L MPI ECT/ Bravo 32012 Load Rite Elite Tandem axle trailer -
