Screw Popped Off of Windshield

After just a few months on the water, my brand new SD 235 had a screw come off that holds the windshield down.  I asked my marina to take a look, and they said that the entire "cap" lining of the boat needs to be removed because there is no way to screw it back in without completely dismantling the boat - and that it's too  big a job for them and it should instead be taken back to the dealer for warranty work.  Does anyone have any experience with this?

    I have not had experience with this, but if you're boat is only a few months old, your dealer is the exact place to go with it.
