2019 SD217 Horn Issues

Hi, my horn is only making a clicking sound when I press the button. I removed the horn and connected the leads directly to the battery and it works perfectly fine. I also connected a multimeter to the harness that plugs into the horn and when I press the button, I get 12V and when I release it goes back to 0V. But then again when I hook every back up I only get a clicking noise out of the horn. Any ideas?

It sounds to me like you may have a bad/loose ground or wire connection, the horn can't pull enough amps to activate properly.2012 SD237 I/O Mercruiser 5.0L MPI ECT/ Bravo 32012 Load Rite Elite Tandem axle trailer
