Battery selector switch position

I have a GS 202 Fun Deck with a 2006 Yamaha 150 4 stroke. What position should the battery selector switch be set on for normal running condition, #1, #2 or both? FYI, I don't have a trolling motor but the previous owner did have one.

Select "both" while running to charge both batteries. If you use power-hungry accessories set switch to whichever is the engine battery (usually #1) while not running to prevent drawing down both batteries. I have no trolling motor and removed my second battery several years ago to save weight and $$.
