Radio Removal 2008 GS202

I just bought a 2008 Fun Deck GS202 and the radio needs to be replaced. There is no access to the back of the instrument panel/cluster and I cannot figure out how to remove the radio. I bought the "Jensen radio removal tools" but no help. I also need to replace the Lowrance transducer cable (or perhaps install a new depth finder) but it too is in the back of the instrument panel/cluster with no easy access...how do I get to the back of the Lowrance unit to remove and replace the cable. Any advice is appreciated.
