Trailer winch and now stop setup

I am trying to get the trailer setup correctly for the 2007  FD201 I recently purchased. I am not sure how to get it set to where the winch strap on and now eye below the guide.

    If you are referring to the bow stop roller (blue), the strap and bow eye do not go below that. I have the same boat/trailer combination except mine is a 2001 but identical n other respects. The pics show correct positioning.

    Also, you have probably noticed by now that if the trailer is too far in the water, the bow eye wants to come up under the roller. It takes some trial and error to determine how far into the water to back trailer to prevent this.
