Depth finder transducer location

I have a 2018 FD226F and it has the OEM Lowrance Hook 3X depth finder. I assume it has a "shoot thru hull" transducer as there is nothing on the exterior of the hull. Is there any way to find out where the transducer is located and if so, how to access it? I want to replace the unit with a GPS unit. I have high confidence the existing transducer is of little to no use for a future unit, but finding the location would be helpful.
