While trying to fuel my boat using a siphon hose and a five gallon can I found that it is very slow to accept. At one point it must have kicked back a half gallon. Afterwards I noticed a black disk to the left of the fueling cap. Is that used for venting? If I was to loosen that would that allow the fuel to flow more smoothly?
Another rookie question. Where do I fill up the potable water?Port Side? I’m guessing the opposite side of where the fueling cap is(Starboard side). I have a fill cap on the port side which is unmarked. I would hate to make a costly mistake.

I’ve downloaded the owner’s manual and I haven’t found any help in these areas.
