Does anyone know the secret adjustment on the swivel lock for these pedestals? I cannot find what tightens that handle/spring function. The passenger chair is perfect. It seems like a simple adjustment somewhere, but I can't find it and cannot find any information on the mfg. of the pedestal.

this may be a defective swivel base. You could reach out to a Hurricane dealer locally
