Electrical problems

Just bought a 2009 sundeck sport 201 ob w/ a 150 yamaha four stroke, came with dead batteries, replaced them, went to go test the electronics and only a handful of guages came on tilt and ignition work and the horn, everything else dead in the water. Checked what fuses we could find and came up nothing. Hoping for advice, wiring diagrams, or a more specific manual and not the generic hurricane one.

Engine power is separate from accessory power. Your engine runs and tilts because it takes its power from the engine harness. All the other switches are fed through two relays, usually hanging from the harness behind the dash. They tend to fail. Visually inspect and use a test light. Replacements are available at any auto supply. If you replace them, be sure to mount them with the wire terminals pointing down to avoid water collecting inside the relays.
