How do you access the steering fluid reservoir

2008 Sundeck 2400 - trying to check the steering hydraulic fluid reservoir? It almost looks like you would need to remove the whole dash panel to get behind the steering wheel?

Found the answer...I have a 250 Mercury Verado and in the 2008 Sundeck 2400 a power steering pump was used. The pump system is on the port side in the last seating/storage compartment. It is easy to access and has an easily accessible reservoir, can just pop a cover then you have direct access to the reservoir to see how much steering fluid there is. The Mercury manual that covers the installation is: 892440A07, 892440A08 & 892440A09 Power steering pump installation verado models. It also contains info on bleeding the system. Cheers, go boating!

I have a 2014 Hurricane 188 s and can’t seem to find my hydraulic steering fill area. I’ve checked the owners manual and YouTube. Nothing. Please help!

There is normally a fill cap on the top side of the steering hub

On many Hurricanes there is a small, star shaped black plastic vent/fill plug on the console. Mine is on the left side of the console.
