3 Battery Tray Question

I have a 2019 SD217 with fishing package. The current battery compartment has a Size 24 battery and tray screwed down. I'm adding two Series 27 batteries for the trolling motor and switching out the starting battery to a matches Series 27. So 3 batteries on trays side-by-side plus a charger mounted next to them.
I made a cardboard cutout to ensure that the 3 trays all fit and they do. But the question is what's under the existing battery. The tray is simply screwed down through a fiberglass shelf. Can I add additional trays in the same manner next to this and screw them down as well?
