Max screw length for Porta Pottie mounting kit

I bought a Thetford 135 Porta Pottie that came with 2 brackets & screws to mount it in the head compartment of our 2003 237 SD. What’s the maximum length the screws can be before they penetrate the hull? The ones that came with it are about 2” long. Many thanks! Kev
