Bilge pump operation on Fundeck

Just got 2000 fundeck 2001. Bilge pump appears to be not working. Is this an automatic bilge pump? Just need to troubleshot it. Thanks

    There is a two finger inlet on the pump to run in test mode.  If you are not hearing the pump kick on then you will need to replace the pump.  Please be sure to hot wire it to the battery for the auto float feature.
