Gasoline in the fresh water tank

My wife accidentally told the gas station to put fuel in the fresh water tank yesterday, so we now have ~$100 worth (15-20 gal) of gasoline in our fresh water tank. We have not run the tank/tried to drain with the onboard pump out of fear of a spark/ruining the internal tube/wire system. My plan was to siphon the gas out into a portable tank and then flush with fresh water repeatedly, then move on to cleaning the tank with soap. My initial attempt to hand pump siphon the gas out of the intake port failed. It seemed that my siphon tube was hitting something hard preventing me from reaching the liquid. (Assuming this is because there is a series of tubes that wind down to the actual tank). My second attempt to fix was to open every removable compartment in the boat, but I failed to find any access to the water tank.

My question is, does any know:
A) Is there a solution to this problem that I could handle myself as a new boat owner?
B) Where can I find access to the fresh water tank? Would it be possble to siphon/drain if I found access?

I have been quoted ~$600 to haul the boat out at a marina, drain, wash, and safely dispose of the fuel, and i'm looking to avoid that cost if at all possible. I don't care about actually using the water tank right now, so my plan is to just get the gas out and clean as much as possible, and if it is still smelling like gasoline at the end of the season (New Jersey), replace the tank in the winter.
