Fundeck lounge table base repair

We were recently "gifted" an 01 Fundeck 196R.  During the shakedown cruise for the new Yamaha F115, we discovered the screws holding the mount for the lounge table were stripped out.  Any advice to repair this?  I'm thinking some type of epoxy and larger screws?

You need to find out how solid the plywood is around the stripped out screw holes. The screw holes are probably just enlarged but the wood adjacent may be solid. Can you get to the underside of the deck through an access panel nearby? If you can reach the spot, use stainless steel bolts long enough to go all the way through. Then use large washers and self-locking nuts (all S.S.), or make a metal reinforce plate drilled for the bolts to line up instead of washers. If you can't get underneath, expanding anchors of some type would be second choice but not as good. Lots of stress at the base of the table, needs to be a very strong repair.
The nearest seat base can be removed and an access port cut under its footprint, then seal the new port up with a cover and hide it back under the seat base. Or just put a patch on the old spot and move the table to where the wood is good!
