New member and newb 2012 SD188-S owner with some questions

I bought it through FB marketplace. Gave it a quick successful test drive but didn't have a long discussion with the seller. Got it home and realized I had no idea about some of the features and fittings. I'd like to post some pictures and hopefully get steered in the right direction, but this new discussion page doesn't have the editing icons to upload a picture.
