Gas tank vent

I purchased a new Hurricane SS192RL boat (Suzuki motor) last year. Since then, filling up the gas tank has always been difficult because the fuel spits back out of the boat. I have tried slowing the flow, changing the nozzle angle and filling it with a 5 gallons container but without much success.

I found out that it appears to be a common problem for the Hurricane boats. They suggest that cleaning the gas tank vent should be part of routine maintenance. Other noted causes include clogged or blocked vent as well as kinked or sagging hoses.
Unfortunately, I could not find any of this information or drawings in the user manual regarding location of the gas tank vent discharge or vent hoses arrangement.

Any advices and suggestions are much appreciated.
