Thinking about switching from Cobalt to Hurrican

My wife and I are both almost 56 years old. But I was recently diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer and have limited time (the statistics say less than 5 years but one never knows - I am optimistic).
I'd like to get fishing again, and still be able to take my wife out to lay around on a hot summer day. Mama loves the back deck on our 2005 220 BR. I love fishing out of boats like Lunds and Rangers. So we both understand we're going to have to make some concessions with a Hurricane, but we think we can both get close enough to what we like to do with that boat, to leave both of us happy in the end. That's what brings me here.
I don't have a Hurricane yet. I've been searching FB MP to see what is out there in terms of used. I personally would prefer an outboard. But I think you get better lounging capabilities from an I/O. So I'm looking at the 4.3 (my Cobalt has a 6.2 Mercruiser with a Bravo 3 so I'm familiar with those engines a little bit). I don't mind a smaller motor either. I'm not racing around or pulling skiers or tubers. I just want reliability, and to be on plane at slower speeds quite honestly.
Is there anyone else on here who considers him or herself an avid fisherman/woman? I am wondering how fishable a Hurricane is. Is there a specific model I should be searching for if fishing is important to me? I'd like to put a 24 Terrova up front, and just one decent graph would be sufficient for me. I've only ever had 7" graphs, but these eyes are getting older too, so I might want to mount a 10-12 incher someone on there. How does this boat track when trolling? Is a 24v enough juice to troll a 20?
Forgive me for the long and rambling post. I tend to do that these days. Any help, thoughts, suggestions, and especially pics would be awesome.
